When should we use stretch mark cream in pregnancy?
Im in my 3rd month and belly hasnt shown much yet, but want to start cream early to avoid marks. Is it too soon to begin or should I wait? Pls share when u all started.
To be honest, I bought a fancy cream but forgot to apply it half the time because I was so tired. Now I have stretch marks and a beautiful baby, and honestly, who cares!
The smell of some creams made me so nauseous in the first trimester! I switched to plain, odorless virgin coconut oil around the 4th month and it worked wonders.
Please choose a cream with very gentle, safe ingredients. It is always best to be extra cautious during this precious time, so ask your doctor which cream is safest.
Start using a good moisturizer or coconut oil from the third month itself, dear. Don't wait for the itching to start; keeping your skin soft early on is the best protection.
I started applying bio-oil in my second trimester along with my gentle prenatal yoga. Staying active keeps your skin elastic, but do consult your doctor before starting any exercises.
I'm a bit shy to ask about these things, but I think starting in the second trimester when the bump starts showing is standard. Just gentle moisturizing should help.
I am just planning my pregnancy but already looking at creams! Most people say to start using it early, like in the second trimester, to keep skin hydrated.
I used to panic seeing every little mark, but then realized stretch marks are totally normal and common. I started using cream around the 12th week and it really helped with the stretching itch.
My tracker app suggested starting stretch mark cream around week 12 as the skin starts expanding. It kept reminding me daily, which was super helpful for dry skin!
