When should you stop having intercourse during pregnancy?
Im in my second trimester and everything is normal so far. Me and my husband are just unsure till when its ok to continue. Would like to know what others did or what ur gynac told u.
In my case the doctor asked us to stop early because of a placenta issue. So theres no one answer, it depends fully on your situation. Please ask your gynac directly, especially if you have any complication or bleeding.
Theres no shame in asking the doctor this directly, they get it all the time. For most healthy pregnancies its okay, but listen to your body and stop if anything feels wrong like pain or bleeding, then check with them.
Generally allowed in a normal pregnancy unless your doctor advises otherwise. Toward the very end or with any complication they may suggest stopping. Best to simply ask your gynac, they know your reports.
My doctor said in a healthy uncomplicated pregnancy it can continue, and she would tell me if anything required stopping. Conditions like low placenta, history of preterm labour or bleeding change that. So its really a personal medical answer from your own doctor.
For most normal pregnancies its fine through most of it, no fixed stop date. But if you have any risk like bleeding, placenta issue or pain, then doctor will tell you to stop. Always go by what your gynac advises for your case.
