Tested positive few days back but havent done a scan yet. Im having some one sided twinges in my pet and it has me a little tense. At what point should i actually get it checked? Planning to call my gynac anyway.

Because of my health issues, my doctor was very careful and scheduled an early scan at 6 weeks to confirm the baby's position. If you have any sharp pain on one side of your abdomen or spotting, please contact your gynac immediately.
It's best to plan an early dating scan around the 6th or 7th week to confirm the uterine pregnancy. If you experience any spotting or sharp lower belly pain, take a half-day off and see your gynac immediately.
