Your doctor will check it at the early scan, around 6 to 8 weeks dear. No need to rush before that. My mother kept asking when we'll hear it, but I learned to just trust the doctor's timing and it was all fine.
At my 6 week scan they said it was a bit early to be sure and asked me to come back, I was so nervous. By 7-8 weeks it was strong. Did others also have to wait a week? It seems pretty common.
