My cycles have always been irregular so I never know if im late or its just my usual delay. We are trying now and im so unsure when to even test. How do you ladies with irregular periods figure out the right time?
With irregular cycles like mine, you can't go by a missed period easily, so I just tested about 3 weeks after we tried. If it's negative but you're still unsure, a blood test or doctor visit gives clarity. PCOS made this part really confusing for me too.

My doctor said with irregular periods it's best to wait around 3 weeks after possible conception and test, or just do a blood hcg test which is more accurate. Home tests can mislead if the timing is off. So if in doubt, see the doctor.
