My doc keeps asking about my last period date to calculate everything and i got confused. Do we count from the period day or from when we actually conceived? feeling silly asking but pls explain.
Just enter your last menstrual period (LMP) date in any pregnancy app and it auto calculates week and due date. Thats the same method gynac uses. Scan in early weeks confirms or adjusts it slightly.
Doctors count from the first day of your last period, not the day you conceived. Sounds weird but thats the standard. So technically you are already 2 weeks pregnant on the day baby actually forms, dont overthink it.
Haan it is from last period ka first day, na from baby banne ka din. Thoda ulta lagta hai but doctor isi se due date nikalte hain. Bas LMP date yaad rakho.
