When to do first sonography in pregnancy?

Just found out im pregnant, test came positive 2 days back. Not sure kab to go for the first scan, dont want to go too early or too late. When did u all do your first one?

Wait till 7 or 8 weeks so u don't have to pay for repeat scans. If you go too early, they'll just ask you to come back after two weeks anyway.
