I tested like 5 days after I thought I conceived and got negative, then spiralled. It was just too early. Honestly waiting for the missed period saves you so much unnecessary anxiety, learn from my mistake.
My doctor said it's best to wait until the day of your missed period, which is roughly two weeks after conception. Testing earlier than that can give a false negative because hCG is still low. Morning urine gives the clearest result.
