Did my first IUI last week and the wait is killing me yaar. I keep wanting to test daily but dont want to see a wrong result too early. When is the right time to actually test?
My doctor specifically explained that testing before 14 days can be misleading due to the residual hCG from the trigger injection. The medical protocol is to test on day 14 or 15 post-IUI using a first-morning urine sample, or better yet, get a quantitative beta-hCG blood test done for 100% accuracy.
I had my successful IUI last year and the waiting part was literally the hardest thing ever! I was told to wait 14 days, but honestly, I was so anxious and tempted to test on day 10 itself. Did anyone else also struggle to control their urge to test early?
My doctor advised waiting exactly two weeks after the IUI procedure to do a blood test. Since I also had thyroid issues, I was strictly told not to skip my regular follow-up and get my blood tests done directly at the clinic instead of relying only on home kits.
Haan, IUI ke baad sabse zyada sabr rakhna padta hai. Minimum 14 days toh rukna hi padega test karne ke liye, usse pehle mat karna na. Pehle kiya toh false result aa sakta hai injection ke hormones ki wajah se, so be patient.
Oh, those 14 days of waiting after IUI are pure torture, I just distracted myself with plates of hot momos and cheese toast! Don't test before 14 days because the hCG trigger shot can give a false positive. Treat yourself to good food and wait it out!
