My cycles have always been irregular so i never know when im actually late, could be 40 days could be 50. We are trying and i dont know when to even test. How do u figure it out without a fixed date?
Irregular cycles make home tests confusing honestly. If you get a faint or negative but still feel symptoms, please get a blood test through your gynac. That is the safest way to know.
With PCOS my periods were all over the place so missed period was useless for me. I waited about 3 weeks after the time we tried and then tested. Honestly a blood test or scan gave me the real answer, so do confirm with your doc.
Since cycles are irregular, count from when you think you ovulated instead of period date. I used an app to spot my fertile window. Then I tested about 2 weeks after that for a clearer result.
