My period is 3 din late and im so tempted to check already. Should I use the strip now or wait thoda more for accurate result? Dont want to do it too early and get wrong answer.
Please wait till your period is at least a week late or you'll waste money and sleep over faint lines. I did it too early and got so confused, now my 3-month-old keeps me awake anyway!
My gynac explained that hCG levels double every 48 hours, so testing too early can give false negatives. She told me to wait at least 7 days after the missed period for the most accurate result.
Oh god, the suspense of waiting! But seriously, wait till at least 4-5 days of missed period unless you want to squint at faint lines while holding your back like I am doing right now in my 34th week.
Ekdum simple hai, missed period ke first morning urine se test karo around day 5. No need to buy expensive digital kits, normal strip also works perfectly fine.
Mere ghar pe my mother in law said wait for 10 days before checking so we are completely sure. Honestly she was right, it avoids unnecessary confusion and stress in the family.
I am no expert, but during my time I tested on the 6th day of my missed period and got a clear double line. I think waiting a bit definitely helped me avoid those confusing faint lines.
Since the pregnancy hormone takes some time to build up in your urine, testing on the day of missed period might be too early. Better to wait for 4 to 5 days, and always use the first urine of the morning for high concentration.
Honestly, don't rush for early hospital blood tests as they charge too much. Just get a standard 50 rupee strip from local chemist and test 5-6 days after missed period, it is very accurate and saves money.
I remember testing too early on day 28 and getting a negative, then cried so much. But my doctor said wait for 5 more days and it was a proper positive, so just relax and test next week!
Don't torture yourself by testing daily, your husband will get tired of buying kits haha! Wait till at least 4 days after your missed date and use morning pee, it's the gold standard.
