My doctor did the first scan around 6-7 weeks to confirm the location and heartbeat, after the home test was positive. She said before 6 weeks the sac may not show clearly. The exact timing she decided based on my dates.
First scan usually around 6-8 weeks once your test is positive and period is well missed. Going too early may just show an empty sac and worry you. Let the gynac fix the date.
I went too early at like 5 weeks and they couldnt see much, I panicked for no reason. Did others also get sent back to wait? Around 7 weeks it was clear. So dont rush it.
