After dealing with severe nausea for months, my body was already so weak after delivery. I'd say don't rush into it at all. Start with very gentle short walks only when you feel your energy levels are returning.
Oh sweetheart, I totally understand how eager you might be to feel like yourself again. But please be very gentle with your beautiful body that just grew a miracle. Rest as much as you can first, and only start when you feel ready.
Listen to me, don't even think about heavy exercises for at least 6 to 8 weeks, especially if you had a C-section. Your body needs proper time to heal inside. For now, just focus on resting and bonding with your little baby.
Looking back now that my baby is a toddler, I realize there was no need to hurry. I started light postpartum yoga around 3 months after my normal delivery. Take your time, your strength will eventually come back.

My thyroid levels were fluctuating even after delivery, so I waited until my reports were stable and got my doctor's green light. Usually, 6 weeks is the minimum wait, but definitely ask your doctor during your check-up.
