Im 5 months along and skin still looks okay but a friend scared me saying they come suddenly. Want to start oiling before they appear if possible. Around which month did urs start showing?
Mine showed up around the 6th-7th month when the belly really popped. I felt a bit sad about them at first honestly, but now i see them as proof of what my body did. They fade with time too.
They usually come in the last few months as the bump grows. No need to buy those expensive creams yaar, plain coconut oil or any good moisturiser works fine to keep skin soft. They mostly fade after delivery anyway.
With twins my belly stretched way faster so marks came earlier, around month 5 for me ha. Bigger and quicker the bump, sooner they show. I wear them like medals now honestly.
For most they start appearing in the later half, like third trimester when skin stretches fast. Some get them on belly, thighs, even breasts. I kept moisturising but genetics plays a big role honestly.
