This is my first pregnancy, and I'm so excited to feel my baby move! I'm around 16 weeks now, but haven't felt anything distinct yet. Around what week did you all start feeling the baby move in your first pregnancy?
In my family, they told me I would feel it early, but my doctor said in a first pregnancy it usually happens around 20 to 22 weeks. Keep patience, you will feel those sweet flutters soon.
For first-timers, it easily takes up to 20-22 weeks to notice movements because we don't know what to look for. If you don't feel anything even after 24 weeks, just mention it to your gynac.
Personally, I didn't feel anything until my 21st week, and I was so worried. It felt like tiny bubbles at first, so don't worry if it takes a bit of time.
Since I had a high-risk pregnancy, I was hyper-aware of everything. My doctor told me not to panic if I didn't feel movement till 22 weeks, but definitely discuss it in your scans.
