When to get check up for pregnancy?

Test came positive 2 days back and im so happy but also clueless about next steps. Not sure if i should rush to the gynac now or wait few weeks for the first scan. When did u all go for the first check up?

I went as soon as the home test showed positive, the doctor said early booking is best. They schedule scans and blood work from there. After that regular monthly checks till later trimesters.
