Just got my positive test and im so excited but also clueless about the next steps. when did you all go for your first scan, like at how many weeks? dont want to go too early and not see anything.
Timing depends a bit on your cycle and dates, so the gynac usually decides. Mine called me at 6.5 weeks. Best to confirm with your doctor instead of fixing a number yourself.
Usually around 6 to 8 weeks they do the first scan to check the heartbeat. Both my times it was near 7 weeks. Just book once your home test is positive and gynac will guide the date.
My app reminded me first scan is dating scan around 6-9 weeks. I just matched it with what my gynac said. Apps are helpful but always cross check with doc.
