Just got my positive test and im so excited but dont know the right time to go for the first scan. Is it too early now at 5 weeks? when did you all go for ur first one?
My gynac scheduled the first dating scan around 6 to 8 weeks, then the NT scan around 11 to 13 weeks, and the anomaly scan around 18 to 20 weeks. There were a couple more in the third trimester for growth. She planned them all, so just follow your doctor's schedule.
I was nervous before my first scan but seeing the little heartbeat made it all real. My doc told me exactly when to come for each one. Did anyone else feel so emotional at the first scan na?
Your doctor will tell you the timings, but usually the first one is early to confirm and date the pregnancy. Then the NT scan and the anomaly scan around 20 weeks are the main ones. Dont skip any, they each check important things.
