Honestly, don't waste money on expensive blood tests directly. Do a cheap home urine test kit first which costs only 50-60 rupees. Once that is positive, then go to a local lab for beta hCG which usually costs around 500 rupees, rather than paying double at big hospital labs.

I am also in the same phase and eagerly waiting. Generally, if your periods are missed by even 4-5 days, you can do a home urine test first. If that shows a faint line, then maybe ask a lab for a beta hCG blood test to confirm.
Having PCOS, my cycles were always irregular so I couldn't rely on just missed dates. I waited till about 10 days post my expected period date to get a beta hCG blood test. Don't rush into it too early as low numbers can cause unnecessary stress.
