My mother-in-law told me to lie down for an hour, but my doctor said even 10-15 minutes is more than enough. You can easily go pee after that. Don't hold it for too long as it can cause UTI.
Based on my experience, holding your pee for hours doesn't help at all. Just chill for 10 minutes in bed and then go pee to avoid any urinary tract infections. That's what kept me healthy.
Actually, you can just wait for like 15 mins and then go wash up. I used to do my mild stretching only after that tiny gap. Don't stress, the sperm reaches where it has to very quickly!
