Keep hearing squats help for normal delivery and i really want to start but not sure of the right time. Im 20 weeks now, first pregnancy so dont want to do anything too early or wrong. When did u all begin?
My pregnancy app had prenatal squat videos and even it said do them only after doctor approval and ideally with a trained instructor. I started light wall-supported ones in second trimester. It really helped my back though.
Please ask your gynac before any squats, especially if you had any complications. Every pregnancy is different and some are told to avoid certain exercises. Safety first na.
I used to do squats before but in pregnancy I only restarted gentle supported ones after my gynac cleared me, around 2nd trimester. Many people do them later for labour prep. But honestly dont start on your own, get a green signal from your doctor first.
