My aunt who does homeopathy was telling me about arnica closer to delivery. Im 30 weeks now and a bit confused about the timing of it. Has anyone here taken it, when did u start?
I cant really say when, I never took it myself. All I can share is that anything I wanted to try in pregnancy I ran past my gynac first. Please do the same for this.
Please dont start arnica on ur own. Anything you take in pregnancy, even homeopathy, should be cleared by a doctor first. I learnt the hard way to never self medicate during these months.
Honestly I would not take anything like this without asking. Some people take it near delivery for recovery but only if their homeopath or gynac specifically tells them when and how much. Dont guess the timing yourself.
I have heard of it being used around labour for bruising and recovery, but timing and dose really depends on each person. The safest thing is to ask your own doctor before starting, dont go by what worked for someone else.
