My blood group is negative and doc mentioned i will need the anti d injection at some point. But im not sure exactly kab it has to be taken. Anyone with negative group been through this, when did u get it?
Anti-D injection, sounds like something out of a superhero movie, right? Haha! But seriously, if your blood group is Rh-negative, your doctor will tell you exactly when to take it. It's usually around 28 weeks, and then again after delivery if needed. Just follow your doc's instructions, they have it all covered.
If you are Rh-negative, you will definitely need the Anti-D injection. It's usually given twice: once in the third trimester around 28 weeks, and then a second dose within 72 hours of delivery if your baby is Rh-positive. It's a critical injection for preventing complications in future pregnancies. Your gynac will schedule it.
This injection is very important for specific blood group types, especially if you're Rh-negative. My doctor emphasized its importance because I had some complications. You absolutely must discuss your blood type and pregnancy history with your gynac. They will advise the precise timing, which is usually around 28 weeks and potentially after delivery. Please don't rely on general info, consult your doctor.
Oh, the Anti-D injection! I remember panicking about this so much when my doctor first mentioned it. But it's actually very common and a standard procedure if you're Rh-negative. Typically, it's given around 28 weeks of pregnancy and then again after delivery if your baby is Rh-positive. Your doctor will guide you perfectly, don't worry.
In my hospital, they were very clear about all such injections. The Anti-D shot is essential if you're Rh-negative. Make sure you ask your gynac and even the hospital staff about the exact timing and necessity. Usually, it's scheduled around 28 weeks and post-delivery if required. Just be proactive and ask questions.
