I really want to do a nice maternity shoot before the baccha comes. Im 28 weeks abhi. Not sure agar I should wait for bump to get bigger or do it soon. When did u all get urs clicked?
We did ours at 29 weeks in a park to avoid booking expensive studios. Doing it around the 7th or 8th month is best before hospital registration and delivery costs start piling up. Keep it simple and budget-friendly.
Between 28 to 32 weeks is perfect because the bump is nicely visible and you still have energy for light walking or standing. I made sure to stay active with prenatal yoga (only after my gynac's approval!) so I felt fit during the shoot.
Arey, don't stress too much about the perfect week! Around 7th or 8th month is great because the bump looks amazing. Just wear something comfortable and have fun, don't make it tiring.
Plan it around the start of the 8th month, maybe on a weekend. Don't leave it for the 9th month because you will be too tired and busy with maternity leave handovers. Keep the session short, under 2 hours.
I know how stressful it can be to plan things when you are already feeling anxious about the baby's health. I'd say wait till about 30 weeks, and only do it if you feel mentally up for it. A simple home shoot is also perfect and less overwhelming.
Go for it in the late 7th month, you will have a cute bump and still be able to enjoy the snacks on set! I literally planned my shoot near my favorite chaat place so I could feast right after.
Between 28-32 weeks is ideal. I did mine at 30 weeks and I'm so glad I didn't wait, because later I had an emergency C-section and was completely on rest. It's a beautiful memory to look back on during recovery.
I totally understand wanting to capture this beautiful phase forever. The best time is around 30 weeks when your baby bump is beautifully round, but your heart is filled with so much anticipation. Enjoy every second of it, dear!
