My period is 3 days late and i bought a strip from the chemist but not sure about the right time to do it. Should i wait more or morning is better? dont want a wrong result na. pls guide.
Take it after your missed period, first thing in the morning with the first urine, thats when hCG is most concentrated yaar. Testing too early gives faint or false negative lines. If faint, repeat after two days.
I learnt morning urine matters the hard way, my afternoon test was so faint I panicked. Next morning it was a clear line. So definitely do it first thing after waking up.
My tracker app reminded me of my missed period date and I tested the morning after. Worked perfectly. Apps are handy for timing it right so you dont test too soon.
