We are trying since few months and im tracking my ovulation this time. I get so impatient and want to test early but dont want a false result again. How many days after ovulation did you get a clear positive?
Dont waste kits by testing on day 7-8, i did that and just stressed myself. Wait till about 2 weeks after ovulation, use morning urine, much more accurate.
I know the wait is the hardest part, that two week wait nearly killed me. But honestly testing too soon only brings more anxiety, give it the full 14 days for a clear answer.
I was so eager too but i learnt testing too early just gives wrong results. Better to wait around 14 days after ovulation, basically after ur period is due.
My doctor explained the hcg hormone takes time to build, so testing before a missed period often shows negative even if u r pregnant. She said wait at least 12-14 days post ovulation for a reliable result.
I tracked everything on an app. The general rule is test the day ur period is due or after, which is roughly 14 days post ovulation. Earlier than that the line can be too faint to trust.
