Gynac mentioned TT injection last visit but I forgot to ask exactly which month it is given. Im around 16 weeks. Anyone remember at what time they got theirs?
My mother was saying we should get it early, but my doctor scheduled my first dose around the 4th month. It is very important for the baby's safety, so please follow whatever schedule your hospital gives.
Based on medical guidelines, the first TT dose is usually given as soon as the pregnancy is confirmed or in the first trimester, followed by a second dose 4 weeks later. My doctor scheduled mine at 16 and 20 weeks.
I am still trying to conceive, but my elder sister told me that this injection is very important and painless. I hope your doctor schedules it smoothly for you!
Don't worry, it's just a tiny prick, not a giant needle! Your gynac will tell you exactly when to get it, usually in the second trimester, so just close your eyes and think of ice cream.
