When to use pregnancy test kit before missed period?
I'm trying to conceive and very eager to know if I'm pregnant. How many days before my expected period can I use a pregnancy test kit to get an accurate result?
I tested 3 days before my missed period and got a very faint line, but I had to retest on the day of my period to be sure. It's better to just wait for the missed period.
My saas told me to stop rushing and wait till the period is late by 4-5 days. Actually, her old-school advice was right, testing too early just gives double thoughts.
Clinically, testing on or after the day of your missed period is ideal because hCG levels double every 48 hours. If you test early and get a negative, don't lose heart, just test again after a few days.
Most sensitive kits say you can test up to 4-5 days before your missed period. But for an accurate result, the hCG level is highest on the day of the missed period itself.
Please wait until your period is missed. Testing too early can sometimes show chemical pregnancies, which is very stressful. If you are anxious, a beta hCG blood test by your doctor is much more reliable.
Oh god, I used to test 6 days early and then cry over negatives! Don't do that to yourself. Wait until at least the day of your missed period to save yourself the panic.
I am also trying to conceive and the wait is so hard. They say to test only after the missed period date for a clear result. Let's stay positive and wait together.
I completely feel your excitement and anxiety, dear! But testing too early might give a faint line or a false negative which will break your heart. Wait till the day of your missed period.
I know the suspense is killer, but early tests can be misleading. Wait till your period is late by at least a day, and use your first morning urine for the best result.
I tested 2 days before my missed period and it was positive, but it was super faint. Did anyone else get a very clear line early or did you have to wait?
