I started mine around day 3-4 after my c section once the initial soreness reduced, but only after my doctor said okay. It gave nice support when moving around. Dont tie it too tight on the stitch area.
Honestly I wore it when I started moving around and lifting baby more, helped my back and posture. But confirm with your doc on the exact day so you dont stress the incision.
After c section dont rush it. Wait till your doctor checks the incision, usually they allow the belt after a few days to a week. Keep it snug not tight.
Please let your gynac give the green signal first, the timing depends on how your stitches are healing. I had a slow healing wound so I had to wait longer than usual.
