Sorry for typos typing fast. We have been trying since 3 months and nothing yet. I dont fully understand the ovulation timing thing, like which days exactly are the chances highest? pls share how u all figured it out.
If your cycles are regular the mid cycle days are the target. But for me with PCOS my ovulation was all over the place, so the calendar method was useless. If your periods are irregular please see a gynac, ovulation tracking or a small checkup helps a lot.
Aim for the days leading up to ovulation, not just the ovulation day itself. If you have a 28 day cycle ovulation is roughly around day 14, so day 10 to 16 is your best stretch. Dont stress and time it like a job, just every alternate day in that window works well.
We are also trying since few months and I was so confused about the timing. What helped me was the ovulation strips from pharmacy, you check and it shows when its the right time. Felt less awkward than tracking by guess honestly.
I used a period and ovulation tracker app and it predicted my fertile window pretty well. Combine that with an ovulation kit for the surge and you cover your best days. Just remember the window is a few days, not only one single day.
I was reading up on this too when we started trying. Basically the fertile window is the few days before and on ovulation, usually around the middle of your cycle if its regular. We used an ovulation kit and that made it way easier to know the right days.
