I just got to know im expecting and im kind of dreading the vomiting part everyone talks about. From which week does it usually start? want to be a little prepared.
My gynac said nausea and vomiting typically begin between 4-6 weeks, peak around 9 and improve by 12-14 weeks for most. She warned that if I was vomiting everything and getting dehydrated, that could be hyperemesis and needs treatment, so call her if it got that bad.
Right when u start feeling smug that pregnancy isnt so bad, week 6 walks in like surprise! For most it starts early and bails by month 3. Keep snacks by ur bed, an empty tummy makes it ten times worse, trust me.
Im 7 weeks and the nausea just started this week, mostly evenings for me weirdly. Is that normal? Heard it usually shows up early first trimester and settles by 3rd month, hoping mine does too.
Mostly starts around 5-6 weeks and peaks by 9-10, then usually eases by end of first trimester for most women. Some lucky ones get none, some unlucky ones longer. Small frequent meals help a lot, dont keep ur stomach empty.
Mine kicked in around week 6 and oh god it was rough till about 14 weeks. Morning sickness is such a lie, it was all day for me. Nibbling on dry biscuits before getting up and ginger water helped a little. If u cant keep any water down, tell ur doctor, dont suffer in silence.
