When we can hear heartbeat in pregnancy?

Im around 7 weeks and have my first scan coming up soon. So excited but also nervous na. When does the heartbeat usually show up? Want to be mentally ready before the appointment.

With my PCOS history, I didn't want to get my hopes up too early. We waited until the 8th week scan to check the heartbeat, as doing it too early can sometimes not show anything and cause panic.
