We are just starting to plan so this is helpful. So it is mainly around ovulation right? I always thought it was random, good to know the timing matters.
With PCOS my ovulation was irregular so tracking by calendar didnt work for me. I had to get my gynac to help with timing. So if your cycles are uneven, do see a doc rather than guessing.
The fertile window is the few days before and on the day of ovulation, thats when chances are best. For a regular 28 day cycle it is roughly mid cycle. Track it and you save a lot of guessing.
I used an ovulation app and it really helped me figure out my fertile days. You can also use ovulation strips for more accuracy. Made the whole thing less confusing for us.
