My gynac mentioned the tt injection in my last visit but i forgot to ask exactly which month it has to be taken. Im currently in my 4th month. Just want to be sure i dont miss the right time, when did u all get yours?
I got mine in the middle of pregnancy as the doctor advised. Dont worry about remembering exactly, your gynac will tell you the right time at your visits.
Usually they give it in the second trimester, around the start of your antenatal visits, and a second dose a few weeks later. Your gynac schedules it, so just follow their card.
At the govt hospital they gave me TT free during checkups, two doses spaced out. Keep your antenatal card handy, the nurse marks the dates so you dont miss the second one.
Mine was scheduled around 4-5 months for first dose and second after about a month. I noted it in my app so I wouldnt forget, but your hospital card will have the dates anyway.
