First time trying for us and i have no idea about the right time to test. Dont want to do it too early and get a wrong result. When did u take urs after missing period?
Best time is after you miss your period, atleast a day or two late. Use the first morning urine, its more concentrated and gives a clearer line. Testing before the date often shows false negative.

I tested like five times too early and only stressed myself with faint lines. Honestly just wait for the missed period, it saves so much anxiety. If negative but period still doesnt come, test again after few days or see ur doc.
I'd say wait till the day your period is due or just after. My app reminded me and I tested with morning sample, got a clear result. Too early and the hormone level is just too low to show.
