Just got my positive test and im so excited but also have no clue about the timeline. When does the doctor usually call you for the first scan? Dont want to go too early or too late.
My doctor did the first dating scan around 6-8 weeks to confirm the pregnancy and heartbeat. Then the next bigger one (NT scan) was around 11-13 weeks. Timing can vary so your gynac will tell you based on your dates.
Mine was at 6 weeks. Tip, book a morning slot and call ahead to confirm timing, scan centres can run late and you dont want to wait long. Your gynac will hand you a slip with what to do.
