When will i get my period after ectopic pregnancy?

I went through an ectopic last month and its been so hard emotionally. Now im just waiting and waiting for my period to come back and dont know whats normal. If anyone has been through this, how long did it take for u?

Give yourself time dear, after an ectopic the cycle can take a few weeks to come back. There is no fixed date. Rest well, eat well, and let your doctor confirm everything is healing right.

My gynac explained it depends on how the ectopic was managed and how fast hormones drop back to zero. Once hcg is fully down the cycle usually returns in roughly a month or so. She told me not to compare with others since treatment differs.

I went through an ectopic too, I am so sorry you are dealing with this. For me period came back around 4 to 6 weeks but it varies a lot person to person. Pls keep your follow up appointment, your doctor will track your hcg and tell you whats normal for you.
