This is my first baby and im around 14 weeks now. Pet is still pretty flat, no bump showing at all yet. When did it start showing for u first time mommas?
Oh god, with my twins I was showing by week 8 and looking like a watermelon by month 5! But for a single pregnancy, it takes much longer, sometimes even 20 weeks. Enjoy fitting into your normal clothes while you still can!
My MIL kept saying "belly is very small" till the 6th month and made me eat extra ghee, but suddenly the bump popped in the 7th! Don't listen to everyone's comments at home. Everyone carries differently and it's perfectly normal to show late in the first time.
According to the BabyCenter app tracker, first-time moms usually start showing between 12 to 16 weeks when the uterus expands out of the pelvis. But actually, mine didn't show until almost month 5. It depends a lot on your height and core muscles too!
My gynac explained that in first pregnancies, the abdominal muscles are tight, so they hold the baby inside longer. She said most first-timers only show after 16-18 weeks. So there's absolutely no need to panic if you still look normal.
I was vomiting so much in the first trimester that I actually lost weight, so my bump didn't show till late 5th month! Please don't stress if you aren't showing early. Just focus on keeping food down and resting.
Just eat healthy, do light walking, and let your body take its own time. My mom used to massage my legs with warm oil when I felt body aches as the baby grew. If you ever feel severe cramping or don't feel well, check with your doctor, otherwise a small bump is totally normal.
