When will know twin pregnancy?

Twins run in my husbands family so im super curious. At what point does it actually show, is it the first scan or later? Pls share if you found out.

The first scan tells you for sure. We found out at 8 weeks.

My doctor said twins are usually confirmed on the early ultrasound, around 6 to 9 weeks when they can see two sacs or two heartbeats. Symptoms alone cant confirm it. So the dating scan is when you will know.

I keep wondering this too since twins run in my family. From what my gynac said, only the scan tells, not the symptoms. Did anyone here suspect twins before the scan and turn out right.

We found out at the first dating scan around 7 weeks, two little blobs on screen and my jaw dropped haha. The ultrasound is really the only way to know for sure. Trust me, double everything from then on, double cute and double tired.
