Im 7 months and noticed a little leakage from my breast yesterday, got a bit surprised. is milk supposed to come this early or only after delivery? wanted to know when it normally starts for everyone.
I felt my breasts get heavy and tender from around the seventh month and a little yellowish fluid came near the end. After delivery the real milk came in around day 3 and I felt so emotional. Everyone is different though.
The first milk called colostrum can start forming in the later months, I noticed a little leaking in my third trimester. The full milk really comes in properly after delivery, a few days after baby is born. Dont worry if you see nothing before delivery, that is also normal.
My mother said the proper milk comes after the baby is born and the more you feed the more it comes. That turned out true for me. Before delivery only a little colostrum may appear.
