Im around 7 weeks and the vomiting is just not stopping, morning evening sab time. Honestly thoda drained ho gayi hu and cant keep anything down. Roughly kab tak ye continue hota hai for most of you?
Oh god, I am planning to conceive soon and reading about vomiting scares me so much! Does it really happen all day, or is it mostly in the morning? Wishing u a speedy relief!
Please be very careful if the vomiting is too severe and you are losing weight. I had some major dehydration issues during my first trimester and had to get IV fluids, so please check with your doctor if u can't even digest water.
When I was staying at my mum's place, my mom used to give me small pieces of ginger or thin buttermilk whenever I felt like vomiting. The vomiting stopped around the fourth month, and having family around made those tough days so much easier.
Yaar, my morning sickness was next level, it actually stopped only by week 16 for me. I used to keep dry biscuits next to my bed and eat one before even getting up, thoda help ho jata hai with the nausea.
Honestly, that morning sickness was so brutal for me too, but it slowly faded after week 12. Even after my C-section, I realized how much strength our bodies have to heal, so just hang in there, this phase will pass very soon.
Actually, my doctor explained that the hCG pregnancy hormone peaks around week 9 or 10, which causes maximum vomiting, and then starts dropping around week 12 to 14. If it's too severe or you can't keep any liquids down, make sure to ask your doc for safe anti-nausea meds because dehydration isn't good.
For me, the heavy vomiting actually started getting much better by the start of the second trimester, around 13-14 weeks. It is tough but once this phase passes, you will feel so much more energetic and ready for the journey ahead!
Haan yaar, starting me to lagta hai ye ulti kabhi khatam hi nahi hogi, but mostly 3rd month ke baad automatically thik ho jata hai. Tab tak thoda nimbu paani ya ginger try karo na, relief milega.
I know how hard every single symptom feels when you've waited so long for this miracle. Normally, the nausea settles down by week 13 or 14, so please eat tiny portions and take it one day at a time, you are doing so well.
As a working mom, managing meetings with constant vomiting was a nightmare. To be realistic, it usually peaks till 12 weeks and then gets manageable, so I kept dry crackers in my office bag and took short breaks whenever needed.
