Newly pregnant and feeling a bit silly asking this but i genuinely want to understand whats happening inside. Like is it in the uterus, how does it have space to grow. pls explain simply.
Baby grows inside the uterus (the womb), not the stomach like people casually say. It develops in a sac with fluid around it that protects the baby. The uterus stretches a lot as months go, thats why the belly grows.
Baby stays in the womb, what we call kokh. There is water around the baby that keeps it safe and warm. As baby grows the womb gets bigger and thats why our pet comes out. Very sweet to think about na.
I remember being amazed when the doctor showed me on scan, baby was in the uterus, safe in the water bag. I felt so emotional seeing it. Its not the tummy where we eat, its a separate organ called the womb.
My doctor explained the baby grows in the uterus, attached to the placenta which gives food and oxygen through the cord. Around baby there is amniotic fluid for protection. So everything happens in the womb, separate from the digestive stomach.
