Im around 19 weeks and feeling some flutter type thing but cant tell exactly where it should be. Is it lower pet or more towards the side? little confused if its even the baccha moving.
Same here, I felt my baby's first kicks very low in my lower stomach around week 20. Just lie down on your left side after a sweet snack, you might feel the movements better.
Usually, you start feeling it between 18 to 22 weeks depending on your placenta position. But please remember, if you are in your third trimester and notice any sudden reduction in baby movements, don't wait around and contact your gynac immediately.
I used to panic so much because I didn't feel anything till week 22, while my friends felt it at week 18. Later my doctor told me I had an anterior placenta which cushions the kicks. It's totally normal to feel it a bit late, so don't worry!
In the beginning, like around 18-20 weeks, you will feel tiny flutters very low down in your belly, almost like bubbles. As the baby grows, you'll feel proper kicks everywhere, even near your ribs. If you ever feel a sudden drop in movements later on, call your doctor immediately.
According to my pregnancy tracker app, in the second trimester, the baby is small so movements are mostly felt in the lower abdomen. By third trimester, they roll around and you can feel kicks on the sides or high up. Tracking kick counts daily after 28 weeks really helps!
Oh, that first kick is the most beautiful feeling in the world, I totally understand your eagerness! Early on, it feels like a soft butterfly tickling you right behind your pubic bone. Enjoy every single flutter, it is pure magic.
