I'm trying to understand the whole process of conception and pregnancy. Exactly where does pregnancy occur in a woman's body? Is it in the uterus or somewhere else initially?
It happens in the uterus, but sometimes I get so anxious about ectopic pregnancy where it happens in the tubes. Did anyone else worry about this in early scans?
Pregnancy occurs in the uterus, where the fertilized egg implants and grows. Anything outside the uterus is a medical emergency, so early scans are always done to confirm location.
