First pregnancy here and every little twinge makes me panic. Sometimes i feel it low, sometimes more to the side and i cant tell whats normal stretching and whats not. Where did you usually feel it?
Location actually matters a lot, so I won't generalize too much. Mild lower belly stretching is common, but upper right pain, severe cramping or pain with bleeding or fever needs a doctor quickly. When mine wasn't the usual type, getting checked early really helped.
I keep getting these little pulling pains low on my right side, around the lower belly. My doc said it's ligament stretching and normal. Anyone else feel it more on one side? It scared me at first honestly.
For me a lot of the 'stomach pain' was actually gas and acidity sitting higher up near the chest, very common in pregnancy. The stretching pains were lower and on the sides. Where exactly it is matters, so if it's strong or unusual, tell your gynac so they can check properly.
Normal pregnancy aches are usually low down on the sides or lower belly, from the ligaments stretching as the uterus grows. Gas pain can be higher up. It's mostly dull and comes and goes. Sharp, severe or one fixed spot that won't ease should be checked by your doc though.
