Where to keep pregnancy test kit?

I just bought a pregnancy test kit, and I'm not sure where is the best place to store it until I'm ready to use it. Does it need to be kept in a specific way?

In a joint family, privacy is hard! I kept mine wrapped in a clean cloth inside my personal almirah. My mother-in-law always said to keep medicines and test kits in cool places anyway.
