I am having itching and discharge and I think it may be fungal infection. I dont want to take any tablet without gynac, but appointment is tomorrow and I am uncomfortable. What did your doctor usually prescribe for this during pregnancy?
I really cant name a tablet, that would be wrong of me. What I did was just go to my gynac, she prescribed something safe and it cleared up. For anything you put inside or swallow during pregnancy, let the doctor decide, please.
Please dont take any antifungal tablet on your own during pregnancy. Some are okay and some are avoided, only your doctor can pick the right one for you. I had an infection and my gynac chose a safe option after checking, dont risk self medicating.
Dont buy any antifungal off the chemist yourself, this is one thing I wont budge on. The doctor often prefers a cream or pessary over tablets in pregnancy anyway. Just get a proper prescription, it gets sorted quick.
