Which antihypertensive drugs are safe in pregnancy?
My BP has been running high this pregnancy and doc is starting me on something. Just curious which ones are usually safe so I feel less tension. anyone been through BP meds during pregnancy?
I am in my 18th week and my doctor just told me my BP is slightly high, so I am really scared. She mentioned starting me on some safe medication if it doesn't go down. Have any of u been prescribed BP meds, and which ones did your doctor suggest?
Suno, never take any BP medicine based on online suggestions! High BP in pregnancy can be serious and only your gynac can decide which drug is safe for your body. Go to your doctor immediately and let them write the prescription.
Oh god, I spent nights googling this when my BP shot up in the third trimester, and I was so terrified. My gynac prescribed Labetalol which she said is completely safe for pregnancy (doctor prescribed). Please don't stress, just consult your doctor and trust their prescription.
I completely panicked when my BP went high during my 7th month, but my doctor reassured me that it is very common. She put me on a mild safe medicine (I think it was methyldopa, doctor prescribed) and everything went perfectly normal. Just follow your doctor's advice!
I know how stressful it is to see high BP readings during pregnancy, it used to give me so much anxiety. My doctor explained that there are very safe medicines available that won't harm the baby. Just talk to your gynac and they will prescribe the right one for u.
Don't worry at all! Modern medicine has amazing options that are 100% safe for both you and your little one. 🌟 Just get in touch with your gynac, they will check your readings and give u the perfect safe medicine. Stay happy and relaxed! Hugs! 🤗
