My gynac told me to add a banana daily but at the shop there are so many types, the small elaichi ones and the big ones. Confused which one is better for pregnancy. silly question maybe but pls tell.
Beta the regular ripe kela is good, gives energy and helps the digestion. Some elders say avoid the very small ones in early months but a normal ripe banana daily is fine. Eat in moderation.
Honestly dont overthink the variety, the regular yelakki or normal banana is cheap and works great. Its filling, helps acidity and constipation. No need to buy fancy imported ones.
Banana is healthy but I had to watch quantity because of my sugar levels. If you have or are at risk of gestational diabetes, ask your doctor how many is okay for you. For others one a day is generally fine.
Any ripe normal banana is good honestly, great for potassium and helps with leg cramps and constipation. I ate one daily. Just dont eat too many if your doctor has flagged sugar.
