My period is 2 days late and ive a test kit sitting at home but dont want to test too early and get a wrong result. When did you take yours for an accurate answer?
Dont stress and dont test daily yaar, it'll just mess with your head. Wait for the missed period, do it in the morning, and you'll get a clear answer. Fingers crossed for you!
Best is to test at least a day or two after your period is missed, and use the first morning urine, it's the most concentrated. Testing too early gives false negatives and just makes you anxious. If unsure, wait a week and retest.
I learnt this the hard way, tested too early and got a negative, then it was positive a few days later! So wait till the missed period day at least. Morning sample works best.
My gynac said the home test is most accurate from the day of the missed period onwards, ideally with the first pee of the day. If you get a faint or unclear line, repeat after 2-3 days or do a blood beta hCG test for confirmation.
